Experience
Ivan serves as Chief Operating Officer having joined Zealand Pharma in 2018. He brings 25+ years of experience in in a broad array of strategic and operational leadership roles in biopharma. Prior to joining Zealand, Ivan worked for Novartis in both generics and pharmaceutical manufacturing, as well as in strategy, quality assurance, contract manufacturing and supply chain leadership in Germany, the U.S. and Switzerland.
In addition to his relevant industry knowledge, Ivan brings management experience from his various Head and Global Head roles at both Novartis and PolyPeptide. His expertise also includes time as a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group in the areas of pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing.
Education
Ivan holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
