Experience
Eric was appointed to the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Zealand Pharma in August 2024. Eric has 25 years of commercial experience from biotech and global biopharma companies that includes pre-commercial planning, product and portfolio strategy, business development, and launch strategy. He was most recently at Carmot Therapeutics, where he led commercial strategy and business development for their obesity and metabolism franchise. Eric has held marketing and global franchise leadership roles at AstraZeneca, Merck, Bayer, Johnson & Johnson, and TAP Pharmaceuticals.
Education
Eric holds an M.B.A. in marketing and finance from Missouri State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Corporate Communications from the University of Kansas.
