Experience
Ravinder serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel having joined Zealand Pharma in 2017. Ravinder brings 25+ years of international experience in intellectual property law in the life science sector, with expertise in litigation, licensing, mergers, acquisitions.
Ravinder’s experience and fit are further strengthened by his proficiencies in the areas of financing, securitization, and capital markets. Prior to his roles at Zealand, Ravinder worked both in-house as Director of Intellectual Property at Polpharma SA and Actavis Group Hf for 12 years and in private practice in London for 10 years, practicing contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law.
Education
Ravinder holds a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Leeds. He qualified as a Barrister and then qualified as Solicitor (England & Wales). In addition, he holds Postgraduate Diplomas in Competition Law (King’s College, London) and Intellectual Property Law (Bristol). He also holds an executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School.
