Zealand has two in-house invented GLP-2 peptide agonists in clinical development for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders:

• Elsiglutide, a GLP-2 peptide agonist in Phase II development for the prevention of chemotherapy induced diarrhea under a license agreement with Helsinn; and

• ZP1848 a GLP-2 peptide agonist for the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
